Be Humble; Do Not Spread Sadness Around You; Learn To Make Amends for Your Mistakes

Message from Saint Padre Pio to Chantal Magby in Abijan, Ivory Coast on May 22, 2026

Children of Mary, Mother of Christian Charity, at the request of your Heavenly Mother, it is I, PADRE PIO, who comes to you this evening.

Many of you do not observe the 10 Commandments, which is why

I, Padre Pio, must remind you of them tonight:

1) You shall love God above all else.

2) You shall not take the Name of God in vain.

3) You shall keep the Sabbath day holy.

4) You shall honor your father and your mother.

5) You shall not kill.

6) You shall not commit adultery.

7) You shall not steal.

8) You shall not bear false witness.

9) You shall not covet your neighbor’s wife or his possessions.

10) You shall not covet anything that belongs to your neighbor.

Yes, children, many of you come to the foot of the altar; many of you receive Holy Communion even though you are not worthy. Many of you have failed to keep one or more of the commandments and act as if nothing were wrong.

Many of you continue to act without concern for the harm you have caused around you; many of you ignore the fact that failing to keep one of these 10 Commandments can have serious consequences for you and your entry into the Kingdom of Heaven, when the day comes that the Eternal Father decides your life on earth must end.

Therefore, I, Padre Pio, must warn you.

You (and you will recognize yourselves) who have broken one of these commandments, let your pride give way to humility, so that your prayers may rise up to the Eternal Father.

Obey God’s Ten Commandments, children of the Virgin Mary, to avoid any punishment from Heaven.

Be humble; do not spread sadness around you; learn to make amends for your mistakes; know how to change your life and behavior; be kind to your brothers and sisters in Christ; be kind to your spouse.

Make amends for your mistakes before it is too late, for you cannot pray or receive the Holy Eucharist without sincere forgiveness toward God and toward those you have betrayed.

Padre PIO.
